Ky-Mani
Ky-Mani Marley has been an extremely popular Reggae Singer for many years. Born in Falmouth Jamaica, he was among the richest and most popular. He was a part of Shottas a film that has become a legend with Wyclef. Ky-Mani enlisted Shang Records where he recorded his debut album in 1996 like Father Like Son and several singles: Judge Not with Patra and Dear Dad" (which topped the British reggae charts) Who The Cap Does It (remix) and Sensimelia each of which contributed to his rising popularity in the new wave of reggae singers. In 1997 Ky-Mani joined forces with Praswell (Fugees) to record Avenue an acclaimed cover of Eddy Grant's Electric Avenue. Marley was the first artist to perform at Midem a world-class music showcase held in Miami. In Midem's Cameo Theatre Marley performed a set which was aired live on air by the Caribbean News Agency to 36 countries. Marley's name became the topic of a bid war.
