Antonina Shevchenko is a Kyrgyzstani Muay-Thai fighter from Peru as well as a mixed martial arts artist competing for in the UFC at the flyweight division,. She's in the midst of fighting. Shevchenko is the older sister of former UFC Flyweight champion and co- UFC athlete Valentina. Antonina Shevchenko began her fighting sports journey as a Muay Thai Kickboxer and debuted in the IFMA World Championship Tournament 2003 Shevchenko did well in the competition and was defeated by Suzane Miller in the finals by a one-sided decision. Antonina was awarded a medal of silver in 2007, a medal of bronze in 2008 and a medal gold in the year 2011. Antonina was also named IFMA Amateur Muaythai World Champ in the year 2016. Antonia started her professional career in with her debut in 2003. She won the WKC K-1 Light Welterweight World Championships 2012 as well as The Lion Fight Lightweight World Championships in 2016 as well as both the WMC World Championships as well as Phoenix FC World Championships 2016. Antonina's last fight was at Phoenix Fighting Championship against Isa Tidblad Keskikangas. She was victorious by the unanimous verdict. Antonina's prodigious strike abilities let her TKO Nievera via knees in the back of her. Following this victory, Antonina received a UFC deal. Antonina did her UFC debut during the TUF Heavy Hhitters Finale, to be fought by Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko suffered defeat to Roxanne Modafferi with a split decision in her first fight. Antonina rebounded from her loss to beat Lucie Pudilova via rear-naked choking submission in the second round UFC on ESPN Covington Vs. Lawler. She earned the bonus fight of the night in this match. Shevchenko had a 2-1-2 record in her next 3-fights, beating Ariane Lipski while losing to Katlyn Chookagian, and Andrea Lee. Antonina was recently knocked out by TKO, in the 2nd round against Casey O'Neill, at UFC Fight Night Santos Vs. Walker.
